Quilt costs about 10% more than Mitsubishi in the same ductless configuration. The premium is entirely in the indoor unit design — Quilt’s wall units are flat, minimal, and built to blend into the room. Mitsubishi’s standard wall units are functional but visually prominent. Both deliver strong cold-climate heating and cooling performance.

If the indoor unit is going in a utility room, basement, or other space where appearance doesn’t matter, Mitsubishi (or Bryant) will deliver the same heating and cooling at a lower cost.
Forge is the first certified Quilt installer in Massachusetts and a long-standing Mitsubishi installer. We can install either brand — or mix them in the same home (Quilt in the living areas, Mitsubishi or Bryant in the bedrooms, for example).
